The small, slender drive has a matte-silver finish and a pocket clip. It works with Windows 98 SE, Me, 2000, and XP, as well as Linux 2.4x and Mac OS 9 or higher. However, the EasyDisk doesn't work with the first edition of Windows 98, and Windows 98 SE users have to install drivers first. Like the Dioneer USB Memory drive, the EasyDisk includes a USB extension cord.
Despite the lower price, the EasyDisk comes with more useful utilities than most other USB flash drives. A security program allows you to password-protect some or all of your data. A formatting utility will clean your disk, and it can add system files to make your keychain drive bootable (if your system supports booting from USB). The drive also has a write-protection switch.
