"The best headset for the 360 out there" on by vitalgamer
Pros: The sound quality is great. Love the surround sound especially while playing COD 4 & 5 on xbox live. Guitar Hero games also sound amazing especially Guitar Hero: Metallica once you turn on the Dolby Digital option.
Cons: When there is no sound playing in the headphones you can hear slight staticky noise. It becomes irritationg after a while. Not acceptable for a $200 pair of headphones
Summary: I own X1s and X4s. The sound difference between them is huge. You do get what you pay for. The surround sound and the sound quality of the X4s are great for any games especially for the first person shooters. The set up took me less than a minute and I was ready to play. Overall I am impressed with this headset and it has given me an advantage when playing on xbox live. I would of rated them at 5 stars if it wasn't for the annoying white noise.

"Not a happy camper!" on by The_Omega_Man
Pros: The Sound Quality and overall Comfort of the headphones is great.
The Bass Boost does "enhance" the overall depth of the sounds and music without being overbearing.Cons: You can easily snap the base stand right off of the base unit when removing it from the packaging, if you are not careful!
NOTE: THIS UNIT WILL NOT WORK WITH XBOX LIVE CHAT ON THE Rock Band or the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel! :-(
Price!Summary: Nice sound quality, but there should be a compatibly warning, right on the packaging for prospective buyers!... @ $199 retail, it is simply unacceptable that this product need to draw additional power from an XBOX controller or that it need to attach to one at all for chat capability! And it it is unacceptable that Turtle beach has no adapter option to supply said required power in leu of the controller. Also it would be nice if Turtle Beach would adapt it's battery compartment to use the XBOX style rechargeable batteries!

"Agreed, Cnet too tough on these. These are awsome!" on by zevede
Pros: The Quality is superb for wireless gaming. I've tried the x1 and some others and they were worthless. These are great. They feel well constructed and have superior sound quality.
Cons: When I when to check out at the store the price tag was very high. But I tried anyway because I want to hear my game with quality when I cant turn up the volume. There expensive and will pobbly keep most people from experiencing them.
Summary: Bottom line is if your a gamer for games like COD then prepare to be blown away. My games are like brand new. I 'm hearing new things ive never heard before. Even with dead silence perk on I can still hear you!

"CNET is too hard, great headphones" on by brianseth
Pros: Wireless, sound quality, feels like true surround sound, great microphone
Cons: price, but you get what you pay for
Summary: I use these for, what else, FPS. You can truly hear the direction of the sound (behind, left, right, etc.) with these. Microphone quality is a huge step up from basic xbox headset and never cuts out. In this review and in another review, CNET cuts on the IR range and sound isolation. I am able to walk around my basement, include into a separate room and still get full signal through walls. Second, who is really moving around, we are playing xbox, not Wii. In terms of sound isolation, unless you live next to train tracks, this is over-rated. Most people I know, and me, play in relatively quiet areas. That said, most normal level outside noise gets covered by the sounds of the game.
Ignore the negatives and pony up the cash.
I waited a year from getting my 360 to get these and wish I had gotten them sooner.
