"Great phones for the price" on by jman360
Pros: awesome bass response and noise blocking ability
Cons: low treble response
Summary: These earbuds are great. It is hard to find good bass in earbuds...such as the earbuds that come with most mp3 player, but the bass in the sparkplugs is so pronounced that I found myself turning the bass almost to a minimum and the treble to its maximum. If you are looking for a comfortable to wear, great sounding stereo phone at a great price; than look no further. The Koss Sparkplugs are for you!

"Wonderful bass and Imaging" on by Zelig504
Pros: Bass, Imaging, Price
Cons: Strange feel in ear, sometimes bass too boomy
Summary: For the price, these are really excellent earbuds. Once you get used to the foam cushions that expand in your ear and create a sound seal, they're quite comfortable.
The imaging is something I noticed while listening to "A Day in the Life". I'd never noticed beore how Lennon's voice, which has heavy echo on it, would echo from the right channel to the middle until I was using these buds. To check this, I tried other headsets I use and I noticed it there but not as distinctly.
These buds really deliver a deep bass sound and the man flaw is that sometimes that bass sound can be overwhelming. The solution I used was to switch the eq on my iPod to Jazz for heavy bass tunes. -
"Wow, suprized me on quality of sound, bass,, and noise reduction" on by ImBender
Pros: Small, Great Sound, Good Bass, Comfortable & Holds well, CHEAP
Cons: no case, wires feel thin and cheap
Summary: These earbuds were ment to be temperary replacements untill I could buy one of those 200 dollar shure earbuds but now Im satisfied with the Koss Sparkplugs wich I paid 14.95. The quality of the sound and noise blocking suprised me, They probably aren't as good as the ec4 shure earbuds but for the price they are amazing and may give you second thoughts on weather or not you want to dish out the big bucks for a bit better quality.

"Squeeze Hard" on by jblakef
Pros: Great sound, quiet when they aren't in your ear, small
Cons: You have to squeeze
Summary: I love these headphones. I, of course, am using them on my ipod. One reason why I love them is the simple fact that they are inexpensive. Koss has had "the Plug" for a while. This is pretty much the same thing. It just has a different design.
My friend still believes his "Noice Canceling Ipod Ear Buds from Apple" are superior to my headphones. Unforunately they are. For one reason and one reason alone. You dont have to squeeze his. But he payed 50 bucks for his. I payed a bit under twenty. That means I could buy a case for my ipod and these head phones for the price of his.
Lastly, the greatest feature of these headphones is probably the worst as well. The plug itself is kind of annoying at first and youd have to squeeze it. You only get 4 plugs in the pack (at least I got four) two on the headphones and two backups. But if you run out of those dont fear. You can take the standard ear plug (yeah those bright yellow ones) and put a hole in the middle (use a nail) and there you go, makeshift plugs. They work perfectly.
If you're looking for a low cost ear bud. Buy these or Koss's "The Plug". -
"Amazing for the price" on by koreez88
Pros: Crazy sound isolation, comfortable, incredible bass
Cons: Sound may seem a bit muffled
Summary: I just got a pair of these cuz I got sick of sony isolating earbuds, 2 pairs broke down on me. So far these are REALLY good. These earbuds are definitely for bass lovers, it is unbelievable. The sound isolation is off the comparisson, you can't hear anything.
The only "but" this is that sound seems kinda muffled, but later on you get used to that and I actually like it a lot because you can listen to your player for hours without breaks without being exhausted.
But for the price these are definitely worth a try.
