"Fantastic for the price" on by nintendude7cubed
Pros: Really good balance of lows and highs.
Cons: In line volume control placed a little too high.
Summary: I ordered these and was so excited because of how awesome these things looked. And I was right. My hair now has waves by my ears because of how much i listen to these. I have no idea why everyone complains. The sound actually improves over time so if you listen to them right out of the box, don't give up yet...
The bass: really balanced with the treble. Any less and i'd say there's too little bass.
The treble: What I kind of liked about the treble is (and this may be because i'm switching from the smokin buds) not annoying at all. I can listen to the high pitched electric guitar or cymbal crashes and not feel like I'm gonna go deaf, but at the same time, I can hear them really well.
The only thing I found concernable is how the cord is way too short without the extension cable (included). It's not too long with it, but since you have an extra plug, it could get annoying, but that really isn't much of a concern at all. I would also like it if the volume control were a little lower so i don't have to strain my eyes to see it so close to my head, again no big thing.
Generally These are insanely comfortable. They're lighter than I thought and that's a really good thing, the ear "cushons" i guess you could call them, are super comfortable. The camo colored ones are more comfortable, but less sound blocking since they aren't made of leather. They also come with an extra leather pair which are comfy as well, but I'd imagine after a while they'd get hot now that it's spring, dont know yet.
The last thing I gotta rave about is the POWER. These things really pack a punch. I've heard too many complaints about people around you hearing them at a normal volume, but as far as i'm concerned, thats a good thing... And they don't just hear the screeching like (vomits a little) ipod earbuds, they actually hear the music at about a 2 foot radius depending on the volume. Anyway actually listening to these is a great pleasure. Ipod users don't listen to this part because I've never used these on an Ipod. I had to tweak with my Rio Karma's 5 band eq just a little to change from smokin buds. Im guessing the main complaint of not enough bass comes from Ipod users, but as far as I know, the bass is superb yet balanced. I noticed on some headphones that i've experienced have overdone the bass to a point where there isn't enough treble and when you try with the eq, it becomes screechy. These don't do that at all. Plus when listening to these, you feel like you want to turn them up really high, but then decide not to for the safety of your ears. I've listen to bose quiet comfort phones before, and when listening to those, it feels like if you turn the volume up any higher (which isn't very high) they'd explode or something. Just my opinion.
I'd better wrap this up. Bottom line, these things are fantastic. Even when not wearing them, putting them around your neck without listening looks really cool. I highly recommend these to any audiophile. -
"Bought these at the airport and they lasted 3 days..." on by URmothra
Pros: NONE. seriously i cant think of any reason why anyone should buy these. oh wait, thats not true. If the BBB could buy a pair that would make me happy. because consumers are getting boned by skullcandy.
Cons: They are made to break. How something like this can go out to the american consumer boggles my mind. I literally put them on my head and both of the plastic rails broke so now i dont have headphones... just really bad speakers. and the speakers btw are ve
Summary: DONT BUY THESE!! I am going to send mine back in a box in the pieces that they are currently in. Flimsy is one word to describe them, another word that I could think of off the top of my head is worthless. I thought these were the GI ones like they were military grade! LOL they arent even tough enough to put on your head! So essentially i guess i paid 60 bucks for a bottle opener.

"Not bad.... for an old headphone of course." on by ksaask
Pros: *Pretty loud,Bass and treble are great.
Cons: *Uncomfortable.
*It breaks easily, That is.. If you treat it like a football.Summary: It plays most of my songs very good. Its only comfortable for like 30 minutes like someone else said, then it becomes the exact opposite.
I have 2 friends with these headphones and both of them broke it,Thank god i didn't break mine until now!
I have no idea what that giant output is for, so i just removed it, it does look like the big output improves performance...
Other than that it pretty overpriced, not too overpriced, But still...
Its not bad, but there's a lot of room for improvement. -
"Amazing headphones, bought 2 years ago, works lik new" on by Kkskeshava
Pros: The sound quality is unlike other head phones, and are very soundproof unlike what some other companies consider soundproof, also very confortable
Cons: the rails break too easily, but they broke from my own carelessness, if you treat them with caution, they wont break, but even though they broke, the sound quality was unchanged
Summary: Buy them if u arent a clumsy person, they have beautiful sound, are comfortable, but can be easily broken, totally worth it, and after 2 years i am planning on buying a second pair, as they r totally worth the price

"good sound, pocket wrenching poor shotty craftsmanship" on by cbht3
Pros: good sound output
Cons: this is my second pair and just like the exact first pair the frame breaks in the exact same spot. These are too expensive to be breaking like this I am not rich to keep buying headphones only to keep breaking. Its not right to want to buy quality only t
Summary: This is my last pair. I cant see buying a third pair only to have them break like this and be charged the price I paid for them, Its not fair to the consumer to take a loss and you profit from poor shotty craftsmanship and labor. best believe I'm spreading the word on facebook/twitter. avoid this product.
