Great sound, if you're sitting still

Pros: Have a great sound over the standard earbuds that come with the iPod, strong bass

Cons: If you are moving around, you hear a thud thud thud thud thud every time the cord hits yourself, or anything. I think that is mostly because there's no plastic thing guiding the cord down from the earbud itself.

Review: They sound great, but buy them only if you're going to be sitting around, not running or walking with them or else your experience will be horrible!

Like a subwoofer in your ears!

Pros: Very good bass, good for noisy environments.

Cons: Sound isolation can make it dangerous when listening in high traffic environments, also they can feel a little wierd if you're walking with them in your ears, highs are not the best.

Review: I think these headphones are awesome, the low frequencies are thumpy and good for industrial metal, I upgraded them from the existing headphones that came with my Sony NW-E003F Walkman(R) mp3 Player. The music sounded very bassy. I have used Bluetooth(R) headphones before with a Samsung T9 and found that the music sounded flat and was lacking bass also the player is easy to lose when there is no cord attached to the player, I learned that the hard way.

These are an awesome pair of headphones!

Pros: Cheap, Awesome Sound, Nice Fit

Cons: Can't find any yet...

Review: At first I was skeptical about these headphones, because they are only $15! I went ahead and bought them anyway. They are seriously incredible. Very awesome sound. Deep Bass. They fit very snug if you pick the right seal, which are perfect for working out they do not fall off. Did I mention they have an awesome price? If you are looking for am awesome pair of headphones but don't feel like spending a bundle then these are definitely the headphones for you.

Strong bass. Good sound isolation. Higher ranges are not as clear.

Pros: Good sound isolation. Good Bass. Good price (Cheaper than regualr Smokin' Buds.)

Cons: The higher ranges are not very clear

Review: Ink'd Smokin' Buds are about 10 or 15 bucks less than regular Smokin' Buds. Regualar Smokin' Buds come with a case and I think provide a little more sound isolation. But the Ink'd are a better deal. They have nice heavy bass and good sound isolation when you find the right buds to use from the 3 provided pairs. The lower ranges are emphasized a little more than the higher which makes the higher ranges a little flat and less clear. But overall these are good headphones.

Awesome Earphones for the Money !!!

Pros: Good Bass, Good Balance, Good Detail

Cons: Cheaper Construction

Review: Let me start by saying that I am not an expert in earphone/headphone technology, but I do think I have a good ear. Most of my listening is critical and in a quiet setting.

My main headphone is the Grado SR-80. These headphones are OUTSTANDING. If you don't own them yet, go buy them now. All of my earphone reviews use the Grado SR-80 as the standard.

I decided to write this review to give back to the reviewer community, as they have helped me so much in researching where to start when looking for music gear.

Now for the review...

In my quest for the perfect earphone, I included the Koss SPARKPLUG, the Philips SHE9500, the SkullCandy INK'D, and the Denon C350.

TIP: The key to all of these earphones is the seal. You MUST insert them all the way into the ear to ensure a good seal. If you do not, they will totally lack bass and sound like crap.

The Denon C350 is a very good earphone. The Bass is decent, the highs and the midrange are very clear and balanced. They also block the outside noise very well and are very comfortable. My only problem with them is that I felt the bass was a bit light. The Denon's were also built well, they felt like they were going to last.

I discarded the Koss and the Philips from my decision because they were not well balanced and did not provide a decent level of balance.

I was just about to keep the Denon's when I tried the SkullCandy INK'D earphones. The SkullCandy's totally rock !!!!

The SkullCandy INK'D earphones delivered the bass I was looking for, while keeping good highs and midrange. They provided excellent balance and good comfort. But best of all, they were only $15 !!!!

Yes, the Denon's were a bit better overall, but no contest at the price point. The SkullCandy's do not feel as sturdy, but if they break, I buy another pair !!! I can buy 3 of the SkullCandy's and will still be cheaper than the Denon's.

I take care of my stuff, so time will tell if they hold up to normal use, but SkullCandy has my business !!!

The SkullCandy's, Philips, and the Denon can be puchased at Target.

I bought SkullCandy INK'D earphones for me, my wife, and my son.
