Pros: They stay on tightly and you never have to adjust them, don't tangle too badly, nice fold up feature.

Cons: Mediocre sound

Summary: I got them as workout phones for my ipod, and tested them against the ones which came with the ipod. I don't know what the other reviewers are comparing the bass reproduction with, but it's lacking. Treble's pretty good, though. The volume is also weaker than ipod phones. Though the comparison isn't relevant because of the price difference, I also tested them against some nicer iso-phones I use on airplanes etc, and of course they didn't hold a candle. HOWEVER they're great for their intended application, which is active use, and you can't beat the price. I wish Sony would make a more expensive version of these, because if the sound were better I feel like these would be the perfect general purpose phones that I'm looking for.

Pros: slim, lightweight, pleasing sound

Cons: wish they didn't have white streaks--the skunk look

Summary: I've tried different kinds: earbuds, muff-style, neckband, and find these the best overall design for active use. They're lightweight, fold compactly, sound much better than the cheapie ones, but don't cost a day's pay. I'd really like a one-wire set but that's hard to find in a foldable.

Pros: Easy to store in gym Bag Good Sound Comfortable fit on head and in ear.

Cons: Excessive sweat gets into the holes and muffles the sounds. Wiping them did not help. Hard blowing into the holes cleared them.

Pros: Good sound, great bass, can get loud.

Cons: Highs could be higher, wish the speaker covers came off so you could clean them.

Summary: I've had these for 9 YEARS, spent 20 bucks on them, and they still work great. I wish that the speaker covers could come off, my ears tend to get a bit waxy and it gets into the pinholes in the speaker covers, and that degrades the sound a bit. To everyone who say they only last a few months... sometimes electronics get assembled and sometimes they don't perform like they should, nothing is built perfectly. Even cars can have trouble after a few months when they're new. Take care of your things and they tend to last a bit longer if they aren't defective.
