"Bad fit, drops bluetooth, poor volume, fiddly controls"2.0 starson by jjmfea
Pros: Good sound quality once you've gotten it in your ear correctly. Takes about 5-10 minutes everytime I use it. You'll get treated like you're "handicapped" with dual hearing aids when you are wearing this headset. I get strange looks from people.
Cons: Tough to get the tubes in ear canal, which exacerbates poor volume. Dropped bluetooth when running.
Summary: I've had lots of bluetooth headsets, but only this one for music & phone. I'll continue to look for a better headset. Sound is good 4 some recordings, but ambient sound often drowns out the music or audiobook. I use it to run in a non-urban mountain region, and sound is still lousy. I struggle to get the earpiece to fit, and regardless of the touted flexibility you can't jamb it in your ear without it springing out. Dropped bluetooth if carried in a jogging sleeve around your neck. I have to use a body glove bicep wrap or drop it in my hoody in back to keep a connection. In the house I can walk 20 feet away and get a signal, but cases and clothes block the signal out. I do like the sound when the record levels are high enough to belt out the sound. Calls are garbled and break up if under street lights. Probably a bluetooth problem. I'm using this with an iphone4 with iOs 4.2 I don't like plantronics products very well. I've had two jawbones that I've liked, and a Plantronics 925, and this one, and neither Plantronics has fit well, and the 925 was very short-lived. I will keep searching for a better bluetooth music & phone headphone
