"Great Headphones all around"
on by inflammablePros - Awesome sound quality
- Good Range
- Comfortable enough, better than most of this kind.
- Lightweight
- Easy to useCons - Sometimes the mini joystick gets in the way
- As most headphones it hurts a little after a couple of hours of continuous use.
- Less battery than other BT headphones (though this one is very small)Summary Previews to this headphones I had the Motorola HT820 which I loved... but then I decided to give this pair a try after spotting them at 70$ in Amazon... so all in all... I have had them for a day and Im very impressed...
This headphones have Last Number Redial... You have to double-clic the phone button.... I hadnt figure it out by the time of the review...
They are quite comfortable for my daily use.... they seem very well constructed. The audio quality is awesome... Its on pair with wired headphones if not better....
The micro USB is a plus for me, cause I have a Blackberry 8220 and it also use micro USB....
It has many functions, that the motorola lacked... like a battery meter (checker)... a bass boost... also automatically activates the built in Mic when you pause a song, so you can hear clearly your surroundings... But it lacks some basics that the Motorola had... like song Stop or Last Number Redial...
I am very satisfied with this pair of headphones... I will update when I test more the battery life and performance when working out....

After all this time, these have been a solid pair of headset... I use them almost every day... and the included Adapter pairs with my Sony BT Car Stereo.. so its also great. -
"Get ready to return your set."
on by runningvirgoPros I liked the music quality and how light the headset felt.
Cons I used it 3 times and it wouldn't charge or start up again. I returned it and got another one, and the same thing after 1 use it wouldn't start or charge again.
Summary If I hadn't had to return 2 headsets I might have liked the product. It just didn't work for me. It's odd that 2 headsets had defects. Save your money and invest in another brand.

"Great Sound, Bad fit on ears, not Noise Cancelling"
on by ryanfr88Pros Good sound, not great but okay since it is wireless. Obviously it is wireless which is nice since you don't have to worry about cords.
Cons Hard to put on. Doesn't seal totally so it is not noise cancelling. Only way to get rid of background noise is by turning volume loud which is not good. Only one pair of eartips comes with it and it may or may not fit your ears.
Summary Expensive for the price. I am going to return these. I was expecting them to feel comfortable and to block out noise while studying and on the airplane, but they did not do that, so I am disappointed.

"Good sound while letting the outside in."
on by TomSwoPros good midrange
Cons highs a little harsh
Summary I've used the Altec 906 with my Blackberry Storm for almost three years and now with my HTC Rezound rather than the Beats that came with the Rezound. I would rather put up with the lack of natural base of the Altec over the hip hop muddy base of the Beats. I can wear the Altecs while driving and still hear car horns or emergency sirens.

"Altech Back beat is a great deal"
on by darronknightPros Great bass responds when paired with the headphone tips that seal the ear canal. I found a pair and with a little cutting sized it just right.
stays put while joging or working out
charge last a long timeCons Wearing glasses or shades makes the fit feel weird
Summary Over all I thought this was a great buy for the money. Plantronic (now Altech Lansing) has a reputation for putting out a quality product. I lost the first pair and was so satisfied, Im springing for my secound.
