  • "Fantastic functionality, not so great fit."

Pros: Fantastic functionality! Pauses/restarts bluetooth ipod with one touch with no additional equipment. Cell phone calls clearer on this device than on many high end single ear bluetooth headsets I've used. LONG battery life! 7-8 hours at least.

Cons: A little buggy. It locked me out once and I had to let it's battery completely die (7 days) before I could reboot it. Biggest con is the fit. Slightly adustable, but not made for small or women's ears. Earbuds NOT fitted. Easily dislodged.

Summary: I got these earphones as a gift and immediately discovered the fit was less than ideal. The shanks that attach the over the ear part to the earbuds do adjust but even contracted down to the smallest size they go, they were still too low in my ear and did not fit down into the ear canal where it seems like they should. The earbuds are small, but because of the contour of the device, they always feel like they are sitting just outside of my ear, just about to fall off. They DO fall off pretty regularly, especially when you are sweating or moving around. Wire that connects the two earpieces catches on your clothing sometimes, but it would be way worse if there were more bulk and weight along that wire, as in some other earphone designs.

Other than that, the device works very well. After an initial freakout, the headset has been working perfectly for about 4 months. Pairs easily with both my iPod Touch and my HTC cell phone. Calls are clear and those I call report they can easily understand me. Battery life is amazing. Easily 7 to 8 hours of continuous play - longer if you have things paused or are only using it for cell phone. Bluetooth reception is great too. Worked flawlessly with the cell phone, and after Apple got their act together and fixed their bluetooth transmitter, worked very well with the iPod too.

I love this headset, but I'd love it a whole lot more if I could keep it on my head. A great headset for driving, and I love the wireless, but I need something that will stay in when I work out and this just isn't it.
