2nd worst headphones I've ever used.

Pros: Design is fine, relatively clear sounding.

Cons: Overpriced, no bass whatsoever, fall out all the time, crappy cord.

Review: I am in no way an audiophile. My first/favorite pair of headphones were $15 from Walmart and I own an ipod that lacks custom equalizer and like it. That said, these earbuds are total crap. To be able to maintain my hearing w/these I have to turn the treble on the source all the way down. Way too high pitched. I have found that just about any $15 pair of earbuds will far surpass the sound quality of these, especially any iems. I wouldn't pay over $2 for these.

Good but I like the older ones better.

Pros: Cute design, awesome sound quality also, their resilience has improved.

Cons: I find they are hard to keep in your ears and earlier models of this design used to lose power over time.

Review: The white earphones that are bundled with iPods are what makes an iPod an iPod but back in 2006, when I donned m first iPod, the headphones used to lose power over time but the ones that have came with my iPod touch are the new and improved design with a softer cable and better acoustics, but still I like the models that came with 1G nanos, 2G, 3G, 4G and 2005 5G Classics, 1G and 2006 2G shuffles as well as the Minis.

Pretty good

Pros: Comfortable, alright sound quality

Cons: Breaks quickly, low bass

Review: These earbuds are very comfortable and sometimes I can't tell I'm wearing them at all. Unfortunatley, every pair of them I've had breaks in some way after three months.

4 important factors

Pros: Fit/Comfort and Sound

Cons: Build and Price

Review: Fit/Comfort-5 of 5
Sound-4 of 5
Build-2 of 5
Price-1 of 5

Fit is probably the most critical, because the sound quality is dependant on the fit and for me they fit perfectly. The new off center form is quite comfortable, but I have a medium to large ear shape. Sound quality is good, especially the bass, although they are not as clean sounding as others. Build quality seems to be one of the weaker points. I am curious to see how long they hold up, if I had to guess I give them a year or less, they just aren't sturdy at all. Unfortunately price is the deciding factor for many people while $29 is affordable these headphones are not a good buy ,all things considered. If you were to find these for $10-15 I would whole heartedly recomend them, but not otherwise.

A good set of buds, I don't see why they keep getting bashed

Pros: NO STUPID WRAP AROUND STYLE, sound good, if you get foam bud covers you get better bass response, stay in ears while jogging/MTBing/Exercising

Cons: you need to get foam covers to get them to stay in your ears, and bring out the bass.

Review: I don't understand why people bash these so much. I think mine sound good. I had a pair of Shure E2C's, and I took them back becuase couldn't stand them. They weren't comfortable, bass was horrible, and it was a whole production just to stick the things in my ears.

With these, just put them in, no fuss, no muss and they do their job nicely. It isn't fair to compare them to noise cancelling buds because that isn't what they are designed to be. Plus, on a 60 mile road bike ride, I like being able to hear outside noise. I can wear both buds, and still be able to easily talk to my friends while we ride.

I think these things are pretty good if you do it right with the foam covers. They sounds better than the Sony in ear buds I've got.

I Want The Old Ones!!!

Pros: Good sound, on par with sound quality of the old ones.

Cons: Uncomfortable, and fragile!!

Review: I recieved these headphones as a pack-in with my new iPod Nano. I was happy to get them, because I had just broken my Bose QC2's and I was in need of headphones. But when I saw them, I leaned that they were the new ones. When I tried them on, they gave me a pain in my ear that the cheap sony ear buds also give me. The pain was not that bad, so i used them for a while. The sound quality is just about the same as the old iPod headphones, but i noticed less bass, nothing much, but a little less boom. Then after about 5 days, the speaker part of the headphone fell out, and it then lasted like that for a day or two, and then that ear just stopped working...so I say hold on to the old ones if you can.
