Pros The remote is a great way to have easy access to your iPod.

Cons I've had my iPod for only 6 months and have already gone through 2 of the remotes. The last one lasted only two days before there was some kind of internal damage to the wiring, causing shorts and sound distortion. I'm a very frustrated consumer!
