Pros: Made by Dr. Dre and Monster

Cons: They don't need the money

Summary: I braved the ear fungus of other Best Buyers and tried these cans. The display had three choices of music, but I only sampled the rock track. Harsh sound. I couldn't keep them on my ears for more than a few seconds. I guess I like a warmer sound. Not for me.

I am not sure if trying headphones on at Best Buy is a good measure for these headphones unless you compare them to another set of headphones so reader can better understand what you are referencing or using as a benchmark. Your reference music at the Best Buy is undermined as your ability to control the music source and volume is non-existent. (Rock, Hip-Hop, and ?) I would recommend trying them somewhere else or somewhere where you can bring your own iPod/mp3 player. Otherwise ask Best Buy or Apple if you can give it a go. Beats are not perfect but they are definitely better than any other noise cancelling headphones offered at Best Buy or the Apple Store.

BTW, if you know of a better set of noise cancelling headphones please let me know. I am always looking for better noise cancelling headphones. Currently, Beats are the best deal I am aware of but I would love to find some cans that are even better please share the wealth.

If you read the review by antonirex you will find that the best-buy kiosk does not give an accurate demonstration of the amazing sound these headphones are capable of producing. Apple on the other hand has the headphones connected to an ipod, which is likely the source most customers will use to listen to music with these headphones. They sound amazing! But, don't take my word for it, go try 'em out.

Wich display? There is no display on these amazing headphones.

Price around 300$ rather than 400
