Pros: Sound quality is OK, but not in line with what was paid.

    Cons: Build quality is poor.

Summary: Unfortunately I'm finding the quality of Bose products does not match up with their great marketing and expensive price. My headphones look brand new, they are lightly used, but the ear cusions are falling apart. They are out of warranty so new cushions will cost more $. They were not built to last and I've hardly used them. I will avoid Bose in the future; their quality is not enough to justify their prices. Sharper Image had great marketing, look what happened to them.

BUILD QUALITY IS CRAP. THEY FEEL AND LOOK CHEAP. They Bose printed letters fade away in two weeks after buy them. Quality is like 10 dollars headphones, maybe worst. LAST TIME I SPEND MY MONEY ON BOSE PRODUCTS. I USED TO BE A FAN.

Welcome to the club...I was a devoted Bose buyer about 5 years ago until all of the products I purchased began to fail at or near the end of the warranty period. The SoundDock 1, TWO pairs of Quiet Comfort headphones (one had a short, the other has disintegrating ear pads), and a pair of triport headphones that short out at the AUX plug as well as disintegrating ear pads. Premium products (supposedly) that command premium prices (definitely) but VERY sub-premium customer service. Each time I called and the item was out of warranty, I was told there would be various costs associated to get a replacement. Stand behind your products! It's just junk marketed under an old name that will soon have the shine washed completely away as more and more consumers get shafted out of their money. I'm done with this company which is a shame, because in the 80s and 90s they made really good quality products that stood the test of time. That is unfortunately no longer the case.
