Bose Quiet Comfort 15

Pros: Over ear - blocks noise natively, active noise cancellation which almost blocks everything (including speech, particularly when turning on any music!), perfect fit, strongly build, detachable sound cord, nice travel case, 30-day test period.

Cons: The headphones are far from cheap. They block speech too good (particularly when playing music): when somebody taps you on the shoulder from the rear, everytime they scare the **** out of you ;) . Music should play even when the battery dies.

Summary: Wow! Whenever I have to decide again, I would definitely choose those again. But ouch, what a price ;) ...
