Bose QuietComfort 2

Pros: Good sound quality and good noise canceling features, but....

Cons: Very poor quality of the plastic and in service, online as well as in stores. Impossible to get your bad headphones replaced without a lot of hassle, even if it is BOSE's fault.

Summary: I had a set of Bose Quiet 2 for about 6 months before they broke around the earpieces. Searching through the internet, this is a very, very common complaint. I tried to exchange my broken headset with a new one, but they only wanted to get me upgraded to QC3 for $299. This was too much for me spending $650 on a headset. I decided to buy two headsets for $299 on Ebay.
However, despite being very, very careful, the plastic broke a gain at the same place a few weeks ago. I was able to fix them with plastic glue, but they are now unusable.
I do not recommend them, because of their poor quality and the very poor service ( in stores and online). Do not purchase them at all. Not worth the hassle, even if BOSE will replace them when they break.
