"I love them!" on by fritzwil
Pros: Very comfortable on the ears even after wearing them all day long at work.
Cons: Does not block all sound out from the printers running in my office.
Summary: If you can afford them then go for them!

"Save your money" on by FAZZA1999
Pros: Great sound BUT.................
Cons: Don't last much more than a year
Summary: Unless your loaded and can afford to buy a set every year I'd save your money
Set I had packed up after just over a year and despite having spent thousands with Bose over the years they refused to replace them.
I'll never buy Bose again. -
"Great Sound Quality, portable, good for short duration" on by mleung86
Pros: The sound quality is fantastic, and the noise-cancelling works well with low sounds. You can still hear people talk, but if you have music on, it is barely noticeable.
Cons: The on-ear design puts pressure on the ears, and feels comfortable for the first two hours. I use these on flights, and usually by the end of a movie, I have to take them off for 15 minutes. The Over the ear design QC15's would be a better choice.
Summary: Great quality construction, sound, and looks. More portable than QC15 headphones.
Bad for extended amounts of continued listening (beyond 2 hours). -
"excellent - really helps" on by davestern
Pros: very comfortable, sounds very good, easy to use, can use without audio source for noise reduction only
Cons: headphones don't fit the case cutouts perfectly (but is fine)
Summary: I am a new user of these products so will come at this review a little differently. I purchased a pair of these (fully charged) at the airport before a redeye flight back home. Because of these headphones, my flight was more enjoyable and I slept much better. The noise reduction is incredible and they sounded absolutely fine (primarily 192k audio served by my blackberry). And, while I was sleeping, I kept them on with no additional audio. Very comfortable the entire flight, I never removed them. So, although they are expensive, from the point of view of how they improved my experience on just the one flight, they were worth every penny - I can be productive at work after the redeye, which I can't always say. And, it wasn't until wearing these that I really thought about how loud the cabin can be. (my other headphones are the shure in-ear, which provide some noise reduction due to their 'earplug' design and do sound fabulous, but not the same as active noise cancellation). So yes you can compare & contrast features, etc. and may prefer another brand or the other bose model, but if it's only down to whether you should spend the extra $50 to get the 3 model (vs. the 2 or 15) then I would tell you not to worry about it, the benefits will make it worthwhile (easy to say, I know). Anyway, I think these are an excellent product and highly recommended. Hope this helps in addition to the other reviews!
