Summary: I have snapped the earcup off of two sets of CV-190 headphones. One broke while putting the phones on my head for the first time ever. And the second broke after using the phones three times. After complaining to COBY about this, they sent me a new set of CV-191 phones, and they broke yesterday. This time the headband snapped at the hinge. They sound not too bad, but are simply very poorly built like most things coming from China. Spend more and get something better. If you're looking for disposable headphones, Coby products are perfect!

Pros: This unit comes with a AAA battery if you just have to have a battery.
Cons: Does not work! This is not a noise canceling headset!
Summary: This is not a noise canceling headset. It adds white noise. The volume of the white noise increases as the outside noise does. It works better turned off.
I passed the headset around to others and we all agreed that it sounded better turned off! -

Pros: Sound quality is better than cheap “free” headphones supplied by airlines.
Cons: Noise canceling is actually noise amplifying!
Summary: I purchased 2 pairs of these and returned both pairs. I don’t know if they were defective, but the noise canceling simply made ambient noise louder! Also they have a fairly loud hiss (white noise). The overall sound quality is not that bad but is nothing to brag about. Comparing them to Bose simply is not fair as they are 1/20 the price, so I will not. What I will say is if you are looking for noise canceling look some where else!
