"Best set of NC headphones I've owned." on by CSCannella
Pros: Of the 6 sets I tested, the Creatives have the best noise cancellation. Sound quality is great if you watch movies on a plane. If all you want to do is sleep, turn on nc, turn off x-fi, and boost battery life.
Cons: Battery life, battery removal. Highly recommend rechargeable batteries (I get about 9-10 hours per set of AAA's). As noted already, battery removel can be a pain. You will want to wrap them with tape to create a tab so you can pop them out easily.
Summary: I fly about 120k miles per year and spent a lot of time 'flight testing'. I've used\owned the Seinnheiser 300's, Bose Quet 2's, Phiatons, and the Sony nc500's. The Creative's for me provided the best noise cancellation and sound.

"Ok sound, not ok build qualily" on by jeasalb
Pros: Good sound cancelling
Useful on trains and in open officeCons: My second example ruined after 7 months the same way that the first pair was ruined after the same time. I have a large head, the headset is not built for my head.

"Now considering replacement for Aurvana X-Fi" on by homewine
Pros: Sound and noise cancellation is great. Good seal around ears.
Cons: Battery life short & hard to swap. Mine needed duct tape repair after a few months & the left speaker died.
This unit is heavy, causing a sore spot where the band rests against the top of head. Unit will break despite exercise of reasonable care.Summary: Despite the great sound, I'm going comparison shopping today for a replacement. Sadly, the Aurvana design team did not do justice to the achievements of their electrical engineers. I will miss these, but I'm not dropping another $300 on a product designed for failure.
