"Not Durable"
Pros: Good sound quality
Cons: Poorly Made
Summary: Creative Zen Aurvana is not durable. After using it careful for 5 months it stopped working. This reason is loose wiring inside the protective coat. The sound comes and goes when I wiggle the cable. This is not covered by the warranty as they call it "normal wear and tear". When I checked Creative forum, I found out that I was not alone as some people have the problem.

Same here. I bought these in Feb 08 and they only lasted for about 7 months. Only the right side works now, to get the left side to work you have to wiggle the cable. These were awesome for my 15 hour flight from LAX to Hong Kong International. They did work great, when they were working. I will never buy another set again though.

Great sound, very comfortable - got very used to them and was hoping for a long term realtionship. But soon the the cheap cord failed and the sound blinked in and out and the performace was very disappointing.
I have other cheaper Creative phones with much more flexible cords but why the same quality is not used on these much higher priced phones is confusing.
Great product while it lasts but spend your money elsewhere if you want something that last more than 6 months. -
