"Worst headphones ever."
Pros: None. I can't think of any.
Cons: Everything.
Summary: These are got to be the worst headphones that I have ever wasted my money on. First they sound terrible. The cheap earbud headphones that came with my myfi and ipod sound much better. These E2c's have no bass at all. Then they are a pain to fit. When I want to put headphones on I just want to be able to put them on and use them. When you force these things in your ears they don't even stay in. They keep falling out. They also hurt your ears. These are got to be the most uncomfortable headphones ever. Your ears ache from the pain of forcing these overpriced headphones in your ears. I tried all of the connectors and even the smallest ones barily fit and hurt in my ears and they keep falling out too. When forced in your ears they do block out the sound somewhat but with them hurting and keep falling out they are useless. I am stuck with them and wasted $68 because where I bought them I can't return them. I would have been better buying either those koss or sony headphones for half the price. I bet those sound much better and are not unconfortable to wear.Updated
The biggest problem I had was the comfort and the hard plastic ones not staying in the ears. I have small ears and even the small ones will keep comming out. The phome ones are more comfortable and sometimes used them however they can get very dirty and are dissposable. The hard plasic ones are terrible and after using them and then losing one of them I went to the Shure website and ordered the soft plasitc small size black ones for the E2c and what a difference those make. They are easier to put in your ears and they stay in, block the outside noise and don't hurt my ears.
So if you are going to get the E2c's, don't use the hard plasic and order the soft black plastic ones. They make a big difference.

The Koss Ear phones are very very uncomfortable. And I have these headphones and they don't hurt nor do they fall out at all, even while running a few miles. Maybe you should check out the eTomic 6i headphones.

Not shure (pun intended) what Orpheus he was listening with but he obviously did not get a ?full seal? in his ear. Theses are in-ear monitors and as all in-ear designs they require an air tight fit to reproduce the bass response. It actually needs the air space in your head to perform. (Another funny) This is why they offer several different options, styles and sizes of foam or plastic fittings. Once you get your perfect fit the sound is incredible and far exceeds that of any ear bud?s or even high dollar open ear headphones, and the E2?s are just the entry level. If you have the money and the ear for it (pun intended again) try the new E4. Shure has great product!

I have to agree with Tonyram57. The quality of the E2c phones is no where near my expectation. Bass is nonexistent and my original iPOD earbuds sounded better. Definitely not worth spending $100 bucks on. I'm returning my set today.

When i fisrt got my headphones i was experiencing exactly the same problems as you do. However, momentarily it were the only headphones i had, so i had to use them for at least a week or so. However, after a few days of constantly being annoyed by them, i started to really them, they became more comfortable as i adjusted to them, nd also the sound quality got better and i heard instruments in my music i had never heard before. Now im really happy with my headphones, and i advise you to really attempt getting used to them....
