"JBL! what did you expect?" on by sanj007
Pros: Fantastic sound
good isolation
lots of accessoriesCons: some rubbing noise due to fabric covered wires
Summary: worth 3x the price. These are easily some of the best earbuds available. I've owned Ultimate ears, Sennheisers, and Shures. These are as good as most of those up to the 200-250.00 range. Really comfortable too!

"very good earbuds" on by francislodico
Pros: Very clear sound, crisp low to mid range and good bass.
Cons: none that I can hear...
Summary: These ear buds are very good. The low to mid-range sounds and the bass is very surprising. I did not see myself buying 100$(yes you can get them for cheaper if you shop around) ear buds but here I am commenting on them. The only con is that they are a bit on the expensive side. (Yes for me 100$ is expensive for ear buds) I know some will only speak of ‘’Shure’’. I have never tried any of Shure’s but then again I am not comparing.
These little ones are very surprising. I have had many low quality ear buds before and when I tried these on there was a big difference, especially bass. The only thing required is a good mp3 player. Don’t put these with low end players. Stick with Apple and Samsung. (I know there are other brands). All in all, they are a very good product with a good bundle of accessories included. -
"BEST EARBUDS AVAILABLE" on by siteaspect
Pros: Killer bass, excellent sound quality
Cons: cord noise when it rubs against clothing
Summary: I own a Zen Vision M and listen to metal, alternative, and electronic. These JBL earbud headphones are the best I've been able to find under $300.
I purchased and returned 2 different Shures, the V-Moda, Bose, Sennheiser and Zen earbuds - they just don't compare. The fullness of the JBL earbuds - bass you can feel, balanced midrange and clean highs - smokes the others.
The JBLs come with 3 sizes of earpieces, plus earpieces for external use, plus a headpiece - you can use them as earbuds, as headsets, you can even work out with them.
The JBLs give me clear, stunning music, and they block out sounds around me. I sometimes leave them in with the music off just to get some quiet time.
The cord sound is annoying though - I do hate that and wish that JBL would consider a different material or cover. However, the cords aren't that cheap plastic wiring that most earbuds favor, and don't tangle easily.
The JBLs even come with a nice case that conveniently holds my Zen Vision M.
The other reviewer who gave the JBLs a 3 is off - the JBLs way overpower the Shures. -
"Very good for the price." on by Pope541
Pros: sound quality, bass, cloth cord, sleek design
Cons: lifespan, jack shape
Summary: PROS:
?Excellent sound quality for the price.
?Fairly good bass
?Comes with a variety of silicon attachments to fit your ear.
?Cloth covered wire helps with tangling
?When the cord rubs or brushes up against clothing you can't hear it through the headphones (apparently others can)
?Sleek design.
CONS:
?Like most value in-ear headphones, product lifespan is limited to only a few months with normal to heavy use.
?Cloth cord will get somewhat tangled nevertheless (not a big con)
?Unfortunately, the headphone jack is the standard straight shape (rather than the L shape) which creates kinks in the wire for mp3 players with the headphone port on the bottom of the device. This will likely be the reason for failure after a few months of use.
These and the V-MODA Bass Freq Earbuds are the best quality for a cheap price.
