    Pros: Clear highs
    Comfortable fit with soft cups
    CAN reproduce low bass tones

Cons: I couldn't really "Feel" low end like i would have wanted from headphones this size
    Very large headphones
    Empty hollow sound

Summary: I bought these for my commute on BART and was eagerly anticipating them based on reviews here and on other sites and I must say I'm a little disappointed. They are nicely constructed and fit over the ear with soft cups comfortably. They also keep out some noise- maybe about 55% or so. I am not happy with the sound. Highs are there and distinct but the the overall sound is a little hollow and I feel they could be a just bit louder. The lows just don't resonate very well. I listened to On Green Dolphin Street by Tito Puente f/ Maynard Ferguson as the bass line is normally very pronounced and I can normally feel it. These DO reproduce the lowest bass tones (a testament to the 12Hz rating on the low end). But I want to FEEL it a little. I don't want to blow out my ears... but I should feel the bass line not merely (barely) hear it. I was listening to this via my Samsung Epic and I had the EQ pre- Amp maxed out on the Pro- Player music player (should never have to have the gain up that high). I then plugged these in to my wife's iPad and listened to some booty bass from the 90's and while again the over all sound was not bad and even the bass was somewhat there, I still could not feel it like I would expect from a pair of cans this big. I then plugged them in to my HK AVR 1600 and played Kenny Garrett's Sing a Song of Song- another song with a deep bass line. Here with a better amp, the sound was little better, and while I was able to feel the bass now, the upper bass was a little punchy. I ended up giving them to my wife- who is not nearly as discerning when it comes to headphones. She's happy with them. For $15.00, they aren't a wash; but I know that trying to listen to them on a subway that these won't sound as well as I need them. They could service very well in the house with your home amp but not for portable music. Did I mention that these cans are HUMONGOUS ? I have a big, round head and these still stand out. I'd deal with that if the sound matched the size. Meh... ok but not for me.
