Outperfomrs 100 dollar sets!

Pros: EXCELLENT bass and very good clarity. The foam buds do a very good job of isolating ambient noise, as well as provide greater clarity and bass.

Cons: None to speak of!

Review: I first got this pair of earbuds as a cheap replacement for my more expensive over-the-ear set and instantly fell in love with them! When compaired to my friends $120 Bose earbuds and they sounded better and had more responsive and deeper bass than the more expensive pair. And for the price (usually between 15 and 20 dollars) they're DEFINATELY worth the purchase! The "marshmallow" tips fit comfortably in the hear and isolate ambient noise, therefore it sounds as if your are listening to music through and expensive audio system and subwoofers. I have yet to find a better fitting and sounding brand, especially in this price range. Kudos to JVC for such an amazing product.

Simply the best earphones for the price.

Pros: Great sound, great value, great comfort, very portable. Superb.

Cons: I dont know. The only thing i find annoying is by my own fault - when the cable gets cought in something it rips the earphones from your ears. :(

Review: These things are the best earphones I ever got. I used to buy these high-priced over-ear headphones for hundreds of dollars. when i finally got tired of them breaking, and me having to go to the store and getting them fixed, i just bought the first reasonable-looking pair of portable earphones for a cheap price.

damn.

First, I stuck these things as instructed, a bit deeper then i though earphones should go. At first, it was a bit awkward, but after a minute, i simply forgot they were there. talk about comfy. Then, my mp3 player booted up and rich, clear sound poured seemingly directly into my head. the volume was low, yet the total absence of outside sound made it sound like i was sitting surrounded by good speakers with strong sub-woofers. you can fee the bass inside your brain.

my first pair worked flawlessly for over five hours a day for over 2 years.

i now have a few pairs, one for my mp3 player, one for my computer, and a couple stashed up if ever they stop making these.

buy them. now.

Nice bass. For the money, not too bad of an earphone.

Pros: Good bass, cheap price, modern looking style.

Cons: Foam is a little stiff for a good seal.

Review: I have some Etymotic 6i's that are going for about $75-80 today. They are advertised as having better bass response than their other "In-ear" type earphones, but the JVC HA-FX33B's have a lot more bass than the Etymotics, and are only about $17-$20. The JVC's, for the money, are a great deal for those who like the in-ear type phones. The Etymotics do seal out outside noise a lot better than the JVC's though. That was a small anoyance for me when I use the JVC's when I ride my bike. I heard a lot of wind noise, which I don't hear with my Etymotics. But for any other sport where you are not subject to high wind speed or want to block out surrounding noise, they are fine.
For an almost disposable earphone set, the JVC's FX33B are a great pair of earphones. They also have replaceable foam ear tips, but I could only find them available through a Canadian based website. All in all I think these are a good, to very good value for the money, and recommend them for those who are looking for an inexpensive the "in-ear" type of earphones.

Absolute best bang for the buck!

Pros: Great noise isolation, deep bass, amazingly cheap

Cons: Highs aren't great, but are good for earphones in this price range

Review: These are one of the best purchases I've ever made. (The KSC75's being the other.) The reason I purchased the Marshmallow's in the first place was to help isolate the ambient noise on a airplane. They've since become my favorite headphones. They do an amazing job of isolating noise for any price range, and the best part is that if you lose them you can go get another pair for only $20! Right out of the box they deliver very deep bass levels, (very good for hip-hop/R&B) but the highs aren't as crisp as I would like them to be. But after burning them in with some pink noise overnight, they sound absolutely amazing. The bass is still deep, but it doesn't dominate everything else as it did right out of the box. I very highly recommend these to anyone looking for a good pair of in-ear headphones, a.k.a IEMs, with above-average noise isolation. My final rating on the JVC Marshmallows... an 8.

I like them

Pros: Small, Long cord

Cons: They freeze in cold weather and don't expanded when moist

Review: This headphones are a good buy, because they have good sound quality and they are small, so they are not so bunky in your pocket

Very Decent for Price

Pros: In ear design cancels out some noise, Sound is fairly decent, good bass

Cons: Not the most comfortable earphones around, don't seem too durable.

Review: ok, I bought these headphones in a hurry because I needed a replacement while I got my shure e6 headphones fixed (by the way, the shure headphones are Excellent!). I am listening to them right now and must admit that the sound is very good for a sub $20 pair of earphones. I would recommend you go for the Sony MD51xl if you can shell out the extra $20-$30 but this earphones deliver everything I would expect from a "Cheap" set.

Great earphones for the price

Pros: Great backgound noise blocking, very good fidelity

Cons: Take some getting used to

Review: Admittingly, this is my first pair of in-ear-canal type earbuds. Though I've used standard style earbuds for years. I, as the prevoius reviewer, bought these on a whim, as I needed a second pair of earbuds. I paid $19.88. I don't think the previous reviewer knows how to use them properly. These earbuds have a compressable foam surround that you have to roll between your fingers before inserting them into your ears. Very similar to industrial foam ear plugs. Once inserted properly, they slowly expand and will not come out (under normal circumstances). The fit is very snug, and anything tighter would be uncomfortable. Sonically, although I've never owned a $300 pair of earbuds, I can't see getting much more out of a such a small package. The frequency response range as stated on the packaging was something like 18-23K. Bass and low end sound is clear and pronounced, mids and highs are very crisp and not harsh. The only reason I didn't give them a higher rating, is that these are the only earbuds of this style I have ever owned. If could compare these to the high end brands out there, my rating may have been different. Overall, for $20, get them.

Haven't been ripped of this bad in a long time.

Pros: Can't think of any Pros

Cons: Do not stay in ear, Bad Sound Quality, Short Life

Review: This was a rush buy, because I usually check reviews before buying anything electronic. These ear phones are a piece of junk. Don't stay in your ears first of all.. Especially if your riding your bike for example. Also the worst sound quality I've ever heard. Better sound quality from a $5 earphone set. I can't believe JVC has come down to this level of poor production. Do not waste money on this.
