"I love these phones." on by Vynson

Pros: Great sound. Compact. Retractable cord

Cons: None if you have hair.

Summary: I love the sound of these headphones. I can't help wondering if other users who have posted here are confused about the product or possibly had a defective unit because the noise canceling on mine is super. I say this after using them on my last trip to Europe. Best flight ever, and you may actually be able to enjoy the inflight movie with these beauties (JVC very kindly provides an airplane adaptor).

The sound is so nice that I find myself hearing things in music that I had not heard before. Great depth and range.

I know there are better phones out there if you want to spend double the money, but for 50 to 60 clams, these are super.

As if that weren't enough, the cord retracts into the left can so that you never have to wind it or deal with dangling excess. That you only have the cord you need means that these are better than wireless because you don't have to compromise sound quality to get the cord out of the way.

A note to CNET... the photo you have for this product is NOT the HA NC100 phones. You guys might want to look into that.

While the cans are comfortably padded, the head piece is not. I've got a thick head of hair and so do not experience any discomfort, however, if you are not so equipped, you might not like the feel of bare plastic against your noggin.

They fold down smaller than you might think and my Rio Carbon stores perfectly between the padded cans and into the handy dandy drawstring bag my entire music system goes.
