"Surprisingly Fantastic!" on by micklure
Pros: These earbuds were very inexpensive, but offer a terrific sound. I feel very comortable using these in editing when working in studio. They have a gold plug, comfortable buds, and are noise-reducing. The residual noise is also very low.
Cons: The marshmellow part of the bud can get pretty grimy sometimes but that's true of most earbuds.
Summary: I picked these up at Wal-Mart just to temporarily replace a pair of shorted-out headphones and found them to be better than my original pair. I liked these so much that I use them as my main headphones. I do a lot of recording, so I'm picky about what I use to edit. When I'm not near some nice studio monitors, I rely on these headphones every time. A common problem with earbuds is that they don't last very long, but these have worked perfectly for almost a year now. I've tried the "high-end" ear buds like those of the Skull-Candy brand. After going through 2 or 3 pairs of those, I decided to try these. They sound terrific, were a fraction of the cost of the Skull Candys, and are very reliable. If you see these and need some good, portable head phones, buy them!!
