Pros: Great sound quality with good balance, Quite comfortable, Build seems sturdy and well-constructed

Cons: Could be uncomfortable to some, over-the-ear memory wire should be optional

Summary: I'm new to premium headphones, but despite lack of experience with them, I am very satisfied with these. Though not without flaws, these are very solid headphones with great sound quality. They excel especially with sounds in the mid- and high-frequency. Lows are also quite full and deliver a tight punch where they're supposed to, but they are not quite as forward as other sounds in the music. Bass addicts beware. You may be disappointed.

As far as comfort goes, these are great. As I have read many professional and user reviews alike of other models, I can imagine there are some out there that feel even better models for comfort, but I have yet to experience them. Of course, they could be uncomfortable to anyone with problems sticking objects fairly deep into their ear. Also, the memory wire makes them feel rather odd and while not necessarily uncomfortable, I could go without.

Overall, I find these to be well worth what I paid, at about $80, but I believe I'd be just as pleased with paying the full retail price of $200. They sound terrific without exaggerating any frequencies over the others. Fit is good, and they don't feel particularly uncomfortable even after long periods of use. I would recommend them to anyone who loves music but doesn't want to spend money on more expensive balanced models.

After listening again today, I found that in one of my songs on Alesana's album Where Myth Fades to Legend, there is a hidden keyboard that these headphones finally revealed to me. The headphones provide beautiful sound and do their job in allowing you to hear detail you've never heard before in your music.
