2-year manufacturer warrantyCons: Wires feel "flimsy". I wouldn't say "cheap" but could be a bit more sturdy feeling - concerned about longevity with high useage. Thus far, no problems.
Summary: I've read many of the reviews. Like any product some people will like it and others will be polar opposites and dislike it. Sometimes for the same reasons! One thing I noticed when I first placed these in my ears - they are to be placed into the ear canal and not just simply "resting" inside your outer ear. Without inserting properly the sound reproduction sounds "tinny" and little to no bass. Once inserted correctly, it's liek an entirely different pair of phones! For me the best way to get proper fit is to insert with the wire facing down (each is marked "L" or "R"). then gently push and turn the phone inside your ear towards the back of your head. The bud cusions will tighten up and block out almost all noise! Turn on your sound source and enjoy the full range of these mini marvels ... deep bass and crisp highs with little to no distoriton!
I have used these ear buds to listen to music from my BlackBerry and from my SanDisk MP3 Player. The SanDisck Sansa Fuze 4 GB player has more "equalizer" settings and an option for a custom setting for 5 frequencies modifications. I beleive the SanDisk has a higher volumer output, too.
The key to getting the best performance from these ear buds is to get them properly placed in the ear canal. The product specs indicate that these are "in-ear canalphones".
Bottom line: great product for the price - I am not certain that any higher priced in-ear canalphones are any better?
