Cons no cons yet
Summary I almost bought a pair that cost twice the price of theses, glad I didn't.
ONe listen this pair blew them away, exactly what i was looking for.
Pros 1) They really sound great.
2) App works well.
3) They isolate sound really well.
4) Button works on iOS as well - so you get reverse compatibility with your ipod.
Cons 1) I wish the included case was better.
2) More tip options would be nice.
Summary I really like these, and would definitely recommend. They make mobile devices sound good, but sound really really good when you have a better driver (like and amp or a computer). So definitely consider these worthy of more than just using them on your phone. If you are a student and need headphones to isolate you from the world - they work.
Pros comfort, weight
Cons bass is pathetic, durability is atrocious, overpriced
Summary These are junk with a quality one might equate with a set of drugstore earphones. Not sure what CNET's reviewer was smoking when they issued an editor's choice for these turds, but she clearly doesn't get out much. I've heard worse, but not nearly with a product this overpriced. Bought these because I've owned Klipsch loudspeakers and wanted to like them. Boy, was I disappointed.
Pros - Works with Android
Cons - They are awful
- You can get the same sound in $20 pair of earbuds
- Sound contains a lot of highs and some lows - no middle.
Summary Seriously not sure what people are thinking that reviewed these and gave positive remarks. I have never submitted a review on CNET or any other consumer reporting site - but signed up simply because I was THAT disappointed in these headphones. I bought them because my Bose IE2's wore out (had them for 3 years). I plugged in these Klipsch headphones and it sounds like I was in a tin can. Sounds like all highs and some lows - no middle range. AWFUL. I immediately took them back and simply bought the Bose IE2s again. Very please with them. Please do yourself a favor and don't fall for the control your mobile device gadget - if you want true sound quality and are in the mark for a $100 pair - get the Bose earbuds. Or save yourself $80 and just buy any $20 pair to substitute for these headphones.
Today I checked the display set. When I connected Klipsch image S4A to my Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman WT19i it flashed popup immediately saying "Accessory not supported". Even I downloaded the Klipsch app & tried again, same thing, its playing music on speakers not in headphones. But surprisingly image S4 works. anyways my first impressions about Klipsch headphones - its good for bass takers, no sound clarity like my sennheiser. I also checked JAY display sets, even its not supported.
