- expensive for quality given on the materials and resistance to wear
Summary: I purchased the Klipsch Image X10i on the 14th of December 2011 from e-bay.co.uk
After almost 2 years I notice the end cap of the jack comes out when I pull the jack out of any device.
I've reported it to Sebastian (from 2U4LESS) to whom I've bought it and he told me he sent the case to Klipsch UK. But after 2 months I don't have any news yet from him.
Sent the case to Klipsch UK.
Feed-back I got:
"(...)Our warranty terms can be found here(http://www.klipsch.co.uk/warranty-support.html), and not only are you now outside the 2 year period & we were not the retailer, but this issue would usually be considered wear & tear.
We would suggest contacting a local audio or electronics store for a repair of the jack, as it looks like it may be a matter of glueing the part into place, or a simple rewiring.
Apologies for the inconvenience,
Bottom line: this Klipsch earphones are great looking, sound is great but for 150£ you would expect longer life for them and better quality from the materials.
Don't buy- look at other options (owned Shure earphones previously and the quality is way better than Klipsch)
