A flexible strain relief has been added for comfort.Product summary
The good: The Koss KEB24 Stereo Earbuds are inexpensive, offer plenty of bass, and are accented in a variety of colors for style points.
The bad: The cable of the Koss KEB24 is tangle-prone, and the earbuds may be uncomfortable for some users during extended wear. Some music sounds distorted or muffled.
The bottom line: For 25 bucks, the Koss KEB24 earbuds offer reasonable style, comfort, and sound quality. But these aren't the best headphones for every genre of music.

Good Quality Sound for Low Price
Pros: excellent bass, noise-cancelling works really well
Cons: short left earbud wire took a bit of getting used to, easily tangles
Once I put these Koss headphones on, what a difference!!! The brightness of the treble and the bass were both substantially better than the "stock" headphones. By adjusting the custom onboard EQ on the Sansa Clip 2GB, I was able to get the Koss headphones to sound pretty darned good for the $20 I spent on them.
The best part of these headphones is the noise-cancelling feature. My testing included standing next to the speakers blaring some thrash metal band as I was listening to Nickel Creek....all I heard was Nickel Creek! These things work so well that once you're plugged into them, you can hear your heart beat and your teeth click if you don't have something playing in them....and I did NOT have any trouble keeping them in my ears. I should say here that when I'm wearing them I'm not being very "active", so I don't know how they'd work for someone working out or doing heavy exercise. For my application these little puppies work exceptionally well, and I liked that they have a choice of colors. These phones are prone to tangling, but I'm a flyfisherman so I'm used to untangling line, so it's a minor inconvenience to me...I just assumed that happened to all phones like this.
I would definitely recommend these for the cost-conscious person looking to upgrade from "stock" headphones that come with some MP3 players.
