"Customer Support is non-existent"1.0 starson by btadlock
Pros: Fairly comfortable, great sound quality, excellent reception
Cons: Headband cracks with even careful use. Logitech cusomter support is horrible. Logitech refuses to replace the unit.
Summary: Although using these were great, the headband flaw is unavoidable.
I called Logitech customer support to get a RMA replacement today. The first agent I talked to said I could choose to have them replaced or receive a refund due to the cracking being a known issue. He also gave me a couple of tips on how to prevent the new pair from cracking (place on neck first and push up to ears to avoid stressing the band, or reinforce with electrical tape prior to cracking appearing). He needed extra information though, a code from under the foam earpiece, that I didn't have with me so he gave me a case # and I called back later in the day.
The second agent informed me that Logitech is no longer manufacturing these, although you can still purchase them, even from their own website. Due to this, they are refusing to replace my headphones and forcing me to take a refund. 'I' have to pay to return the defective product to them and they will get a check out to me in 2-3 months!
I sent in a support email asking them to confirm the availability of the replacement units, since in all the reviews I have read no one has mentioned that they couldn't be replaced. However, I haven't heard back from them yet.
Beware if you buy these, they will break, there is no avoiding it and apparently it isn't easy or maybe even possible to have Logitech replace them.
