"Best Set of Headphones"
Pros: Excellent bass (which I think is very important), good highs. If these are lacking anywhere it's in midtones.
Cons: Rustling noise created by cord.
Summary: The most amazing pair of headphones I've ever had, but I've never bought headphones any more expensive than fifty bucks. I'm sure a pair of Shure or Bose headphones would kick the crap out of these but if you don't want to pay that kind of money then these are the way to go. They came standard with my 80 gig zune so that was a plus.
Earwax issues.
I recently bought the 50 dollar model of Sony noise cancelling headphones (MDR something or other). It might be that I'm used to the quality of bass that in ear headphones provide, but the Sony's were seriously lacking in bass quality, and the highs were kind of screwy. I was surprised to find that my zune headphones pretty much obliterated the Sonys to the point where I really regret buying them and I still use my zune headphones.
Expounding on the cons: At first, the rustling noise that you can hear when the cords rub against something (probably because of their nylon exterior) was pretty annoying but after a week or so of use you don't even notice it.
If you have a lot of earwax (ew) then these might be troublesome. Cleaning the rubber seal part is easy because they're removable but if you get earwax down into the perforated metal area then it can be a problem.

Actually, not so much. My friend has a Bose pair of in-ear headphones (buds like these) and wishes he'd not spent the 99 bucks for them after I showed him these.
