Pros

Sound quality
Packaging
Tangible looks with gold luster and blue cord
Comfortable for long hours

Cons

Pricey, although not as expensive as Shure 535
Quite prostrude, disturbing if you wear motorcycle helmets.

Summary

Value for money. if you want sound quality but reasonble price, then consider this.
I have try klipsich Image S4 and Beat Dr. Dre. They both have a boomy bass, but speak of clarity, not even close.
Sound isolation is great. then boost the clarity even higher.

Tribute has a deeper, more resonance bass character. If you want a beating bass, go for klipsich.
Package is entertaining to open, 3 luxury cases, complete earbuds, DVD, and LOVE thats NICE SMELL!

"A Perfect earphone for Jazz lovers"

4.5 stars  | on by ropetat

Pros

1. Razor sharp clarity
2. Outstanding sound quality
3. Great looks
4. Durable
5. Comfortable fit (even after prolonged use, you don't feel tired)

Cons

1. Very poor noise isolation
2. Blue cable makes its look cheap (for me)
3. Weak and poor bass (Very weak for Bass Lovers, but much more than Shure SE310)
4. Very expensive

Opening the box of a high-end product like Monster Miles Davis Tribute is a breathtaking experience. You have a lot of expectations with the product when you first put it on your ears. With all the pros above mentioned, the product is highly recommended for those who like oldies and Jazz songs. Not much recommended for Rock and heavy-music freaks who like a lot of bass with good treble response. The product has an outstanding sound quality and every-time you put it in your ears. However, the product is extremely expensive and one must consider all the pros and cons of the product and his requirements through and through before purchasing this product.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the product, its looks and most especially, its sound quality. Only thing that disappoints is its bass.

"Superb All-Rounders with Lush, Warm MIDs and Great Bass"

5 stars  | on by Kendric-Luine

Pros

1. Very Good All Rounder

2. MIDs are forward-leaning, presenting some vocals on several songs albeit more intimate one

3. Instrument Seperation and Stereo-Positioning is excellent

4. Soundstage is an approximate size of a cosy jazz lounge

Cons

1. Cable is thin for a product of this price range.

2. QCs could have been more strict since a considerably driver flex and etc could be encountered if you're unlucky enough, this is indirectly remedied by the LIFETIME Warranty under Defects though.

Basically i wouldn't call this Reference Level In-Ear Monitors, BUT I guarantee and assure you won find any true shortcomings in this lovely pair of delights, They do everything very right and has little to nil listening fatigue in compared to its lil brother 'Turbine Pro Copper'

Treble is not as ostentatious and deliberately sparkled as the Turbine Pro Coppers yet not rolled off like the Turbine Pro Golds at the same time.

Mids are lush, Warm and appropriately forward that is addictive in company with its general buttery-smooth sound signature.

Lows particularly the bass can be a lil shy compared to its actual potential when its just brand new, But as this is housed with a Dynamic Driver, These needs burn-in of around 50hours minimum to 'open-up their sound' which usually and most obviously the Bass and its impact + Resonance will reveal its prowess. And compared to others for an instance, the Ortofon e-Q7, The e-Q7 has those 'Never Ever Misses a Beat' kind of super fast and accurate bass and beats, but sounds crude compared to the Miles Davis. In contrary return, the Miles Davis sacrifices a lil Bass Impact Accuracy and Speed to usher in a good deal of smooth resonance and refine to it.

And Its soundstage as implied by its gimmick - A Jazz Experience Headphones, That these gives you a soundstage as though you were listening to a performance in a cosy jazz-lounge, not wide but a certain depth and IMO nothing boring such as the UM3X.

Finally, what that ultimately seals the deal to make this a worthy deal is its Life-Time Warranty. Under Manafacturer and Non-Abuse/Misuse Associated Defects which gives you unconditional and F.O.C exchange of a brand new pair of the Miles Davis In-Ear Speakers.

And for audiophiles who has fussy ears and can find faults to pick on with several flagships such as Sennheiser IE8, Fischer Audio's DBA-02 and Audio Technica's CK100 so forth, I believe the Miles Davis Tributes would certainly well be your last destination for a pair of IEMs that will engage you on a fun and enjoyable music journey, even those these by the strict guidelines of the audiophiles, are not considered Super Critical Reference Level Purposes, Since these are made to be enjoyable not detail-analytical (which you might have to pick the Monster Turbine Pro Coppers which will fit the bill slightly more.)
