Summary Buy it now!
Pros - Amazing fit!
- Well balanced sound!
- So inexpensive, that you can buy a pair for the whole family
- Best budget headphones that I have ever owned
Cons - L shaped plug
- Cheap, hard, plastic cords
- Looks as though they were designed by Smurfette
Summary (BUY THESE NOW!) I have heard great things about these for years, but the childish design and L-shaped plug kept me away. A fellow gym bud recommended these, but I was still a skeptic. That all changed when I received a $50 gift card to a big box retailer. Purchasing earbuds seemed like a logical choice since I lost my Skullcandy JIBs. Not only were these the cheapest of the bunch, but the best sounding of all that were purchased. From worse to best: Phillips SHE3500; Sony MDR-EX50; Panasonic RP-HJE190 Ergo Fit Plus, lastly (drumroll please) the Panasonic RP-HJE120 Ergo Fit. While doing sonic testing, these were the only pair that motivated me to get up and dance. I loved the sound and fit so much that I ordered 6 additional pair from Amazon costing under $7 each.
This review is not without consequence. The build quality is extremely poor and the cords will tangle and become hard in cold weather. It's probably a good idea to keep a spare pair around just in case. This isn't so bad! I have had to replace 2 pairs of JVC Marshmallows and replace the aux cable on my Beats by Dre-Solo HDs. In summary, these are $7!!! Please stop reading and go to Amazon.com RIGHT NOW and place these in your cart.
Pros -simplicity, just pure bliss.
-fits in ear like no other earphone I've used
-fricking light weight! sometimes when im not listening to music, I barely even notice its in my ear!
-so many colors, it's just good.
-bought mine for $10. a steal
Cons -BIGGEST CON: the wire gets hard in the cold up here in canada and is
easily tangible. The wire is never straight and always has little waves or ruptures.
-feels a bit cheap, but for me, simplicity and reliance overcomes these cons
Summary good buy. nothing to lose at less than $10 on ebay or amazon.
ALSO, FOR ME, this beats the klipsch image s4. just because the klipschs' eartips don't stay in your ears as well as these.
though the klipschs' sound quality is overall higher, I would recommend these just because the fit is a little off. the image s4's earbuds are a bit heavier and are WAY easier to fall out of my ears compared to these. I use size medium tips on both.
Pros cheap as hell, better than bearable sound, rather comfortable
Cons kinda muddy and indistinct midrange sound - but phenomenal at this price
Summary Excellent beater cheap-ass headphones. Bought these for strenous activities when one breaks headphones most. Very light, comfortable, stay in my ears, and have a clear enough sound that I don't want to throw these away in disgust - compared to other super cheap headphones.
