Pros: It will surprise you how well this headphone cuts down the airplane engine noise, allowing you to listen to your music comfortably without turning up the volume like crazy.

Cons: Typical of over the ears, your ears will get warm and tired over prolonged use.

Summary: These headphones alone are great for everyday listening (which I do quite a bit), and the white noise (noise canceling turned on) makes the engine roar nearly disappear. Before I used these, I always had difficulty listening to music on the airplane. I enjoy the bass from over the ear phones, and these do perfect on deep bass. At the time that I bought mine, they were $100, but you can find them on sale for less. With a detachable cord, you can always buy a replacement from an electronics store, which makes this headphone a great long-term investment, unlike fixed cord headphones; we all know how easily cords get frayed with time.
