"good sound for the money but not for audiophiles"
on by parth010791Pros Comfortable to listen to for long periods, balanced sound, spreads the punch across the entire spectrum of music. The mids are especially well refined. The price is affordable. It looks good. Creates a wide listening experience
Cons Lacks the punch in the lows. The looks are for the young, and may look slightly cheap. The cans feel slightly cheap. Leaks noise.
Summary Good sound for the money, but if you're looking for a pair of upgrades, look slightly higher such as the senheissers (HD 202) which is cheaper but much more comfortable, and sound about the same, although the dont isolate as much.

"Comfortable and good sound"
on by Zach BonnellPros Nice bass, pretty comfortable.
Cons Sliding ear cups don't lock and move too easily, not as clear in the higher ranges
Summary These are nice headphones, I bought them after the Sony MDR-XD200's which didn't have enough bass for me. These have a little more punch in the bass and still have clear sound in the higher ranges although not as clear as the XD200's. They fit nicely and feel comfortable. Although they aren't supposed to be sound isolating they do quiet down any outside noises nicely. You can adjust the ear cups by sliding them up and down to fit your head but they don't lock and they slide really easily but that isn't a huge problem for me. They have a good cord length for portable listening on a mp3 player and also some with a cord extension if you are at home and aren't close to your audio source which I found nice instead of just having a long cord like the Sony MDR-XD200's. If you want cheap bass heavy phones then get these, if you want cheap phones with a lighter sound then get the Sony MDR-XD200's.

"I'm Looking For Better"
on by msblueraspPros In my price range...
Cons Tight on the head, sound isn't great...
Summary I'm looking for a good old fashioned big clunker type pair of headphones. My selection here is limited so I headed to Walmart to check out theirs, since I want to test and return should I need to.
The headphones feel tight on my head (and I don't think I have a big head.) Although not noise cancelling or anything, I doubt I'd be able to hear much outside of them though, they really block off sound to the outside.
My first impression when I turned on the music, was that the sound was kinda crappy. I thought maybe I had to adjust my equalizer. So I did that, and they still are kinda crappy. They make stuff sound dull. I dunno. They just aren't for me.
They do come in white and black at least though and look nice.
They will cover your ear completely as well, which may or may not be good, not sure. -
"Amazing sound, but really poor durability"
on by Phil-K-007Pros It's hands down the best sound you can get for under 50$. Also, it looks really nice with this retro/aviator looking. And it's really cool how you move the actual earcups instead of moving the band to adjust your earcups.
Cons That stupid whire! My friend pushed me last week and the jack broke in two pieces! It's a shame that in 2012 they don't put some detachable cables!
