Pros: Sound cancelling and quality excellent; price incredible

Cons: no pride factor (for the snobs)

Summary: Want a pair of light, responsive, comfortable noise cancelling earphones, but shy away from the 300$ bose? I bought a pair of these Philips hn110's and put them to my "acid" test..an hour on the treadmill...and stand amazed at my results. I grabbed these at my neighborhod Aldi's for 30 bucks...right..one tenth of the Bose cost! I really didn't expect much for that price, but I put 'em on yesterday, and still don't want to take them off! The sound is excellent, I can hear each distinctive change in my ipod with the eq settings..even with pretty severe background noise, as with the treadmill..my only regret is I didn't buy 2 pairs, which I plan to correct today..if you don't want or need to impress your audiophile friends, or the strangers on the plane, I'd recommend these to you any day; spend the 270 bucks you save on a new ipod...!
