Pros Great sound level, beautiful bass, soft cushions, textile covered cable, stylish reflective neckband.
Cons Slight discomfort for people new to this style, insanely long cord, treble may sound screechy at times.
Summary This is total bang for the buck. I have noticed the headphones to accurately reproduce various sounds, and the bass is extremely good. Whether it is a piano ballad, or an insanely ferocious death metal song, or a fast paced game, there is a clear sharp differentiation between the levels of various sounds and the thumping bass presents an excellent background when listening to songs. The reflective neckband glows and looks 'cool' at night. The cups sit well on the ear, but it might take some time to get used to, especially when you are new to this style, and if you wear glasses. The gold plated jack has no issues either. Depending on the quality and bitrate of the songs, sometimes, high frequency electric guitar solos and voices may sound screechy, but only if noticed carefully. The cable is shielded with a textile cover, which is really good, and prevents tangling. Also, Philips provides a 'Pull Relief System', which is a small elastic band near the headphone, which prevents accidental ripping off of the cable when pulled hard. These headphones are extremely lightweight (0.1 lb) and comfortable, no matter what position you are in. All in all, if you are looking for decent headphones under $20, these are the best, and they have the potential to beat $200 headphones too.
