"7.0/10 good, but underwhelming for $85" on by backstorker4736
Pros: good sound quality at lower volumes, amazing metal case, foam tips and rubber tips, rubber offer great seal and allow for great noise-isolating
Cons: higher volume levels and not eardrum blowing up levels make the earphones distorted, lacks bass, foam tips are crap and mine ripped after having for 1 day! Underwheling for $85
Summary:
9.0/10, these things rly now kick ass, bass is great, comfort is good, they still break up at high volumes, but these r great, buy them and get shure medium foam tips as they fit the nozzles on these

"not worth my buck" on
Pros: 1. nice design
Cons: 1. disappointing sound quality, both treble and bass
Summary: i expected MUCH more from this product when it costs me almost 3 times my current earbuds (Creative EP 630). Sadly it just sounds so.. normal, no sense of clarity at all. I know the review stated that its not very high end, but i didn't expect it to be THIS bad.
Im better off with the EP 630s.. -
"definitely worth my buck" on by boberz3
Pros: Good fitting sleeves, strong noise isolation, good overall sound, looks cool, nice accessories, work well.
Cons: Pricey-ish, bass could be better.
Summary: The Philips SHE-9850 in-ear headphones are in general good sounding headphones that work at a decent price range and can block away a good amount of external sound. The packaging looks really nice and so do the headphones themselves. The ones i bought were the last ones in stock at the moment and are sort of hard to find if not buying online, but are still worth it. Get these headphones, you won't regret it.

"Excellent value" on by jimstoic
Pros: 1. Comfortable.
2. Excellent sound--I hear things I've never before heard in songs I've been familiar with since the 70s.
3. Nice length of cord--I have a long torso, but can keep my iPod in my front pants pocket.Cons: Earbuds might get loose if they get sweaty--but that's an issue with the style, not this model.
Summary: I bought these to replace the headphones that come with the iPod, after the iPod headphones started crackling in one ear. I chose these for two reasons: First, cnet.com gave them a good review--in fact, the best review of any in-ear headphones under $80. Second, because the Amazon user reviews were more positive than for headphones in the same price range recommended by consumerreports.com.
