"Worst headphones I have ever used" on by sugar_dust4459
Pros: I guess they look cool. You can extend the length of the wire. Compact.
Cons: Basically everything...
Summary: I hate pretty much everything about these headphones. Even though are there are 3 different sized silicone buds for your ears, the med. and large sizes were too big, and the small ones fell out of my ears about every 15 seconds. The wires are too thin and get tangled terribly all the time. Every time I went to use these, I spent about a minute or 2 untangling them before I could use them. The package advertises that these headphones have good bass, but in fact there is none. I had to turn on the bass booster on my ipod to get a halfway decent bass sound. All of my music sounded terrible with these headphones. Also one side is longer than the other, so the shorter side would constantly fall out of my ear. In the center of the wire, there is some metal decor in the middle weighing them down and causing the earphones to fall out of my ears even more. Not that they advertised this, but they are not noise-cancelling at all. Don't buy these unless you want to get really really irritated every time you listen to your music.
By the way, I just bought a pair of JVC HA FX34 Marshmallow ear buds the other day, and I couldn't be happier. They fit comfortably, they completely block outside sound, the cords don't tangle, and the sound quality is excellent. They were the same price as these phillips, but 10000x better!!

"Disapppointing" on by kevtan72
Pros: Good sound
Cons: Poor fit, bad wire design
Summary: I must say firstly that I have been a long time supporter of Philips products in general. I currently have 2 Philips TVs, a Philips home theater system and an MP3 player. I was therefore sorely disappointed with this particular headset.
I have two main gripes. The first is the badly designed wires. This headset features a behind the neck wire design. So you connect the left ear bud and other wire passes behind your neck to your right ear. Philips for some reason however made this wire way too short and you will find that it pulls uncomfortably on your right ear. I have therefore no choice but to leave the wire hanging down the front of my chest making it look rather silly.
Second is the ear bud fit. Again for some bad design reasons, when you stick the ear buds in your ear, you will find that the wires stick about 45 degrees out from your ear rather than discreetly down your neck. Personally I also found that the ear buds were not as comfortable for long periods of wear.
Overall, the sounds were much better as compared to the original ear buds that came with my MP3 player but sadly it was let down by bad overall design.
