I purchased a set of these from my local electronics retailer, I based my purchase on the review from CNET and PCMagazine. My local retailer also has a no questions 30 day return policy. If not for that I probably wouldn't have been willing to purchase such an expensive device.
I don't know if I had a defective unit, or if the earbuds were incorrectly sized for me.
I returned the unit after the weekend for full refund and have moved to a different product.
In any case, as long as you buy from a retailer with a good return policy their probably worth trying.
