Sound fantastic and warm overall with great bassby gadgetsbf - January 29, 2011
Pros: Best headphones I have acquired from a trade with my friend because of the size but no complaints here and cost me no money-priceless. Bottom line even at the retail price and quality of sound you can't go wrong with these.
Cons: maybe a little better in the highs but that is it

Awesome for the Price. Great allrounder.by Radnushgnis - August 26, 2010
Pros: Price (INR 1500). Very good to listen to those FLAC files to bring out the details. Very Good for Private Guitar Jamming (POD X3 Live) and Performs well with Movies as well.
Cons: Well as with all Headphones like these, in a warmer country like mine (india) My ears get quite hot.
Long wire (which is a "pro" and not a "con" sometimes actually) tangles.
Review: Originally bought along with My line 6 POD X3 Live for jamming quietly. Performs well for that. Now Carry it everywhere. Very detailed Sound for this price. Listening to Def Leppards Action right now as I am writing this review. Adds life to average Nokia phone's music Quality. The Bass notes on the "After the Thrill is gone" by the Eaglles sound beautiful through these. Everything from The Supremes through Metallica to Veggie Tales sound good through these. You Couldnt go wrong. Uh now playing TOTO - Africa (Awesome I say)

The MOST AMAZING headphones I've owned!by MADDOG3200 - September 26, 2009
Pros: No distortion on Bass!!
Heard things in songs that I didn't know exist.
Cancels lots of outside noise, but not enough to be called "Noise-cancelling."
Cons: The cord looks cheap.
The cord is so long I can skip rope with it (LITERALLY!! NO JOKE!)
They can add some treble.
Review: I heard many great thing about Sennheiser and decided that I should give them a try. I regret nothing as these are the best sounding headphones I've owned. Why spend $150 on the Bose Triport when these sound the same (better in my case) and these are CHEAPER! (and I regret getting Bose!)
Out of all my years using: Bose, KOSS, off-brands, and Sony, these Sennheisers are on the top of my list and you can bet that I'll be buying more from Sennheiser in the future!!
For bass testing, try listening to "Boom Boom Pow - Black Eyed Peas" on these and you'll see what I mean about the great bass response!

Excellent Sound! Cord tangles after a whileby SinistaMusic - November 8, 2007
Pros: Overall Sound Quality, Design
Cons: Cord tangles into a crazy knotted up mess ater a while
Review: I love these headphones. I get Sennheiser products over and over because they sound great. I am a Music Producer (kinda layin low right now) son I know what good sound quality is all about. These sound excellent!
The only one thing wrong with these is that the cord tangles up into a crazy mess after using them for about a year. No big problem though.
Overall... Excellent pair of headphones for the money!

you won't be disappointedby kainos2 - July 18, 2007
Pros: excellent price ($15 refurbished), very full sound, light weight
Cons: none for this price range!
Review: These sound like $200 to $400 cans, but cost a miniscule fraction! Great bass but also excellent highs. Light weight & comfortable for extended wear. Also, the phones have flexible positioning for a very comfortable fit. No distortion noticed even at uncomfortably high volume.

Great sounding! for all types of musicby jesmac418 - June 22, 2007
Pros: Very good sensitivity! Excellent bass ,and highs!
Cons: Upper mid range a bit weak
Review: Coming from owning Bose triports. These are very close.
Over the years I have had Koss, Sony, and others. All seem to do real well in one range of frequencies and poorly in others. It is very hard to get a near flat responding headphone.
I realize many people hate Bose. I did for many years. But they are really able to get good sound from drivers. It was obvious that the Triports did that. However at $150 I found that the eh150 are very close for $40. I figure I saved myself $110.

Absolutely the best headphones I've owned!by 697johnathon - April 12, 2007
Pros: deep rich bass, precise mids and highs, comfortable and light
Cons: takes a few weeks to break in - especially high frequencies. at first you think the highs sound too bright, but a fter breaking in they are super precise
Review: I bought these for a total of 50.00 (Canadian). I then heard how fantastic Grado's were and took them to a grado store to compare. No comparison, believe it or not! I'm a musical person; I've played elec. guitar for 20 yrs and have had great stereos in the past. The grados from the 60's to the 225's (didn't try 325's) sounded almost bad compared to the EH 150's. I sampled the Boston #I CD since I know the sound inside out. Couldn't believe my 50$ investment! Buy a pair! See for yourself. You'll be spoiled within a month. JKL

Great Headphones for any price level!!!by dirty55409 - March 13, 2007
Pros: Great bass response and sound quality
Cons: there is a chord. but it's better than ANY wireless set
Review: Forget the expensive headphones from BOSE. save your money and get these, by far worth every cent. I use them as a home theater substitute when the family goes to bed and I still want to crank the volume. Great for movies and gives you booming bass. You may not feel the explosions like a subwoofer would give you but this is the next best thing that won't wake up the kids/anybody else in the neighborhood. they stay comfortable for hours of constant wearing. I did invest in an extension cord for $12 an extra 12 feet very pleased. I tried the wireless headphones that are similar but got lots of static since I have a lot of Wi-Fi components, UHF remote etc. so go this route if you want good sound and a great price

pretty good for the priceby Thai Fighter - September 7, 2006
Pros: neutral sound, nice bass
Cons: the highs are almost non-existent, not too much isolation
Review: I got my eH150s today and I'm pretty satisfied with their sonic performance. They sound pretty neutral, so I use an almost flat EQ setting. The bass isn't very precise, but it offers plenty of punch. Their sound lacks the midbass and lowmids a little, but overall they sound pretty good. Naturally, they aren't as detailed as the hd497s, but detailed enough to use them on a bus/train.
Comparing to the akg k26p they are much better, the details in mids and highs aren't drown by the bass in the eH150s.
The bass also has much more definition, it isn't nearly as boomy as the bass of the akg k26p. The isolation seems to be not as good as that of the HD212s.
All in all, these are very good for the price.

Great bass but not much more?by muchosmuchos - January 12, 2006
Pros: Unbelievable bass
Cons: Very Very little treble
Review: I like my bass as much as the next man but I have also been known to enjoy a little treble from time to time. If you expect a rounded listening experience, maybe look elsewhere. If you are an 11 year old with aspirations of becoming a bassist yet you can't for the life of you hear low frequencys anymore than you can a dog whistle, then these are for you.

One of the best headphones that i had adquiredby advantangel - December 8, 2005
Pros: high enclosing type, hard clead & powerfull bass, smooth mids
Cons: not enought treble, very large cable for portable use
Review: I always try to listen good systems, in this case for portable use i try some sony head, earphones, the ipod's earphones and a litle few more, but when i saw in a shop this headphones for just 26 dls and SENNHEISER brand, I dont doubt to get one.
Just in the store, the salesman open it for a try, and with my Sony D-NE10 it sounds simply great, I throw away my StretStyle headphones.
A lot of powerful brain shaking bass, whith equilibrate clean mids, very confortable of home and in the go use.
the only cons that it have is the weak treble, but with the Parametric Ecualizer of NE10 it get solved.
Very recomendable for first and intermediate users.

Great over the ear closed headphones, amazing sound and excellent price!by audioman09 - September 10, 2005
Pros: Clear sound, crisp and powerful base, very cool look, really comfortable unbeatable price.
Cons: have not found anything yet
Review: I can't believe no one has reviewed these headphones yet! I just got these from a store near me for $39.99 CAD! I had found them on the internet stores but I wanted to buy them from a retailer (not on the internet) and finally found a store that had them near me. I picked them up yesterday and my first impression when i took them out of the box was "wow...these look cool!" They have and very nice look and a great design/colour. I then put them on and they are so comfortable! They fit over my regular sized ears perfectly and you can hardly feel them on your head. Then I turned on my GMini 400 and I could not believe the sound quality without changing any setting on my Gmini at all. The sound is clear and the bass is so incredibly powerful. I had to turn my gmini volume from 78 with my stock earbuds, too 50, so they wouldn't blow up my ears! I could ramble on more but these are amazing headphones for the price and I guarantee you won't be disapointed. They are just as good if not better then my friends $200.00CAD bose triport's, and the eh 150's block out tons of sound so you can hear your music without interruptions, or without interrupting anyone else.
