Pros sits well on the head and ears. treble is bearable at best.
Cons bass is muffled. cable is flimsy. volume is moderate/low.
Summary Utterly Disappointed.
if you're reading this Sennheiser. the thick foam could have hindered sound traveling into the ears. and the ears are simply too far from the drivers to provide a descent listening experience
Cons Using ipod & iphone, these headphones sound brash and hard, the treble is too sharp out weighing any decent bass that sennheiser are famous for, the mid range hard and boxy sounding with no depth to the music, stereo image virtually non existent.
Summary The HD 219s are probably the poorest on ear headphones that i have purchased, having said that, i am proud to own their open similar priced PX 100 that have been with me for almost one and a half years, and are a joy use with the latest ipod & iphone, 'whats gone wrong with Sennheiser' a big question mark here, if its down to technology keeping up with the joneses they would be better going back to what works and is an enjoyable listening experience, The spiel on the packaging is ridiculously inaccurate, coming no way near to the famous sound brand of Sennheiser. Don't waste your money.
