Pros: Suitable for high SPL envorinments, vivid responsive sound, _very_ loud yet undistorted, comfortable to wear, Overall Quality

Cons: Nothing substantial.

Summary: I have used this headphone set during several years as a sound engineer. Thanks to its strong magnets these headphones deliver high output and still are very clear responsive, punchy and vivid in sound; actually its sound quality is my favorite (leave alone high-end products multiple times the price). Environment noise is pretty well shielded off, which helped a great deal when working concerts, raves, and other loud events. This is also why I still like to use it when I travel by plane; wearing it for hours is also comfortable. (Oh yes, planes... There is also a Pilot's/Headset version HMEC 25, I believe is the number, as well as an active noise cancellation Version I also once tried which is pretty awesome, too.). You might like it also when you want to shield off office noise from your neighbours when you work in a cubical office.
Only negative thing I oberved is that the ear cushions ruptured deep down at their inside diameter close to the speakers; however this does not impact anything - it just does not look as nice any more, and is only noticeable if you look closely (also note that I used it for my work for years which means they have gone through a hole lot of pain -this is why I still give it a ten rating. Also _everything_ on this product is available as a spare part.).
Note there is also a budget version which has a simpler bracket.
Bottom line: If you need a high Quality professional product then this one is yours. Even after several years owning it, I would not trade them in against any even more costly "high end" products. Thumbs up, definitely.
