Pros excellent sound quality, solid build, easy to drive by iPhone or iPod
Cons quality always costs money
Summary Very nice headphone with a quite old school design. At first sight they look quite cheap and fragile but if you take a closer look and feel the material there is no doubt that they were build to last forever. And even if you abuse them that hard, that something is broken, there is still every part replaceable by your own. This headphones are chosen by most professionals whether DJ, at radio and TV stations or sound engineers and if you listen to those headphones it gets clear why.
Even if the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II are driven quite well by an iPod or iPhone they still benefit from a additional amp like an FiiO E11.
I can only highly recommend this product.
"Awesome sound."on by Makatunn
Pros Extremely durable. Only after 4 years of heavy use mid started to degrade but barley noticeable. Replaceable pads.
Cons Too hot to use them outside in summer, but good warmer during winter.
Summary Buy it!
Pros Great isolation, Great SQ, hard as a rock.
Cons need an amp to sound beefier.
Pros Sound quality is very crisp and clear
Cons the cord is a bit short
Summary This is an excellent quality headphone for Djing or for personal use, I have been using mine for several months now and can't stop raving about them!
Pros Tight, precise, and clear sound. It makes trebles clear and brilliant but still manages to produce a deep and satisfying bass. Overall, these are durable, to the point, and extremely comfortable. These are the perfect headphones.
Cons While it picks up midtones perfectly, the bass can feel a little unnatural.
Summary You will not find a better pair of portable headphones in the $100 - $500 price range. The sound quality is simply stunning, and the noise suppression is very impressive for headphones of this size. If you're going to buy any pair of portable headphones, make sure it's these. The competition simply flounders in comparison.
