Good, clear, open sound

Pros: Sound quality, comfortable, block outside sounds well

Cons: Cable is a bit rigid causing it to rub/catch on things, no case

Review: These headphones make an excellent upgrade if you are looking for something much better than the standard fare included with most players. The sound tends towards being bright, but I would characterise it as 'open'. Bass is ample and good quality, but it won't shake your cavities. The minor annoyance I have with these headphones is that the cable is a little bit rigid meaning that it doesn't hang freely. Not a big deal, but it gets in the way sometimes.
I enjoy good sound quality (mosy of my music is lossless or v high bit rate). I was looking for good quality headphones but baulked at paying the price demanded for some of the more exotic brands. Let's face it if you're outside in a noisy environment you're never going to get hi-fi sound. If you're at home and you want great sound use the hi-fi! These headphones are an ideal compromise for those looking for great quality at a sensible price.

great for the price

Pros: balanced sound in all frequency bands, very nice bass

Cons: you have to stay in one place to make them stay in your ears

Review: The Sennheisers MX-300 are truly outstanding if you're searching for a cheap pair of headphones. I used many types of headphones in the past and these are the best as far as earbuds are concerned.

Very bright sound and yet able to deliver good strong bass

Pros: Clear sound

Cons: None actually

Review: The sound they deliver is very bright. Using it both on my laptop, mp3 player etc. I use it besides my Sennheiser HD 580 and I must say it is a good alternative when I am tired of wearing a heavy headphone. Very lightweight too.

Great sound--lousy fit.

Pros: Nice range of sound high to low. Very clear.

Cons: Can't get them to stay in my ear. Oddly shaped. The foam wrap comes off and the base bud just slips out. I spend more time adjusting them in my ear than listening to music. Frustrating--as the sound is great.
