"Terrific! Slightly Pricey However."
on by wirelessbythepoolPros Snug Fit, Excellent Sound, Storage Case
Cons Pricey, Poor Bass Response, Neon Green?
Summary These headphones have worked out better for me at the gym than any other set I've ever owned. The snug fit system is perfect, I think my ear will fall off before the buds fall out.

"Ah, well...let's try again!"
on by ChrisHarrowerPros Sennheiser name
Cons a real "pain in the ear"
Summary I spent 10 years in radio, and everyone used Sennheiser headphones. So imagine my joy in finding affordable ear buds with that famous name for a low price. Sorry, but I'll keep looking for the "perfect" buds. I used these on a trip to Texas, and ended up paying waaaay too much in an airport shopt to purchase replacements before I flew home! The mechanism that holds them in your ear caused me discomfort and lead to real pain, and the highs were too high for my taste (I prefer more bass, and less treble). Sorry, Sennheiser...we'll try again sometime.

"Love the Fit"
on by marossvaPros Secure comfortable fit, good sound
Cons Stiff unflexable cord
Summary You name it and I've tried it - in the ear, on the ear, over the ear, and on and on. Nothing worked. Nothing seemed to fit my ear properly. They fell out, didn't fit securely, or didn't sound good. As a last resort I decided to give the Sennheiser a try mainly because of the unique twist to fit system. I must say the fit is wonderful. I put them in when I left the store and 3 hours later they hadn't moved and I couldn't even tell they were in my ears. Secure, tight, no movement - in other words exactly what I was looking for. As for the sound, I'm still assessing them but I'd say for ear buds they're good to very good. They certainly are not on the same level as my Bose QC2's but then they cost considerably less and weren't meant to compete. I can't speak for anyone else but for me the fact that the MX75's are so comfortable and fit so well makes them worth the price and the bonus is that they sound good too.

"Find another"
on by jtorsePros sound is average
Cons no bass, not very powerful, don't fit well
Summary After researching these headphones I had huge expectations and was sorely let down. The sound is VERY underwhelming, bass nonexistent. I tried all the accessories and they still never fit right in my ears. My advice is to go with V-moda bass freq's. Best I've found under $50 so far.

"Good headphones, awful materials"
on by neatskiPros They stay in your ears, lightweight, come with a case, decent sound
Cons Material is NOT durable- wiring in tatters after seven months, right headphone stopped working
Summary I waited for more than six months to write this review because I wanted to see how the headphones would hold up to use. The verdict: not well at all.
I didn't have any problems getting this to fit, although I never did manage to get a seal, which meant that I dealt with a good deal of noisy background music while at the gym. I was hoping that these would be more like the Shure headphones, which block ambient noise. However, that was ok. I was looking for headphones with decent to good sound quality that would stay in my ears and would not interfere with my workout, and these fit those criteria well. The sound quality is pretty good and the headphones delivered enough bass to satisfy me. I did not have trouble with the long cord on the right side- I just used the clip provided to keep it attached to my shirt.
Well, that's the good news. I bought the headphones only seven months ago, and they are falling apart. The insulation on the wiring is extremely flimsy and started tearing about a month ago, despite the fact that I ALWAYS kept the headphones neatly rolled up in the case when they were not in use. I didn't snag them on anything, either. The "extremely rugged cable" as Sennheiser calls it, is ridiculously thin. Also, the right earbud has stopped working and produces barely audible sound. All of this occurred WITHOUT abuse, exposure to excess water, heat exposure, etc. I took good care of these headphones, and frankly, I'm extremely disappointed in them. They're supposed to be tough, durable sport headphones- I would have expected that they last through at least a year.
