Summary: If you live in NYC and ride the subway these earphones are the ones to get. Dont let the price sway you, i suggest you get them directly from shure so you can try them out for 30 days and decide if you want to keep them. The sound reproduction on these earphones are nothing short of incredible, its hard to believe that such deep rich bass can come from such small ear phones. While the bass is 2nd to none the mids and highs arent lacking either, you will hear instruments and tones previously MIA with other headphones/earphones. One word of advice though is to make sure all your mp3's are 192kbps or higher.

I have a Sony Network walkman and it's great but, the headphones that came with it do the player no justice. So I've been looking around now for better headphones for a while, and since I ride the bus a lot which can be noisy at times, I wanted headphones that could get rid of all the noise, so I looked at the EShure5c's and I like what I see. Now my mp3, plays ATRAC3plus@ only 48Kbps. So should I get different headphones, or a new mp3? Any advice would be great!
