"Absolutely Exquisite"
4.5 starson by sactorPros: Sound Isolation, Studio Reference Sound, Subtle Details Revealed,Deep Generous Bass
Cons: Cost, Time Consuming To Acquire Fit, Hard To Insert
Summary: I used to own the e3c, and even those took me about a month to find the best fit. When I recieved the e5c's it took me at least 20 mintues to figure out how to position the cables and the earphone itself. I am using the triple flange sleeves which seal ultra tight, allowing for optimal sound isolation and clarity. These earphones are the best earphones I have ever heard and possibly the best on the market, besides the critically acclaimed "Ultimate Ears." I love Spyro Gyra and Jazz all around, I felt like the saxophones were in my head blowing at all directions, and the violin was so passionate and felt so close to me. I was listening to Elvis Presley's "Such A Night", and I could actually hear him say "Whoo!" at the end of the song, that is how amazing these earphones are at revealing subtle details of a song. I give Shure's e5c two thumbs UP.
