"Outstanding comfort and sound if you get the fit right"
Pros: Sound. Comfort (huge range of options to get the right fit). Has option of short cord if you use an in-line remote
Cons: Sound is bass-shy until you get the right fit. Cord is bulky/complex if you don't want the "short-cord" option
Summary: I selected these mainly on the basis that I wanted a very short cord to use with an in-line remote on my MP3 (few earphones have this option). So you can use the short cord (approx 60cm) or use the supplied extension (another 90cm).
First play was hugely disappointing - almost no bass. Then I spent some time working with different foam buds (supplied) and "boom" there was the bass. Don't know if it was simply a need to "burn-in" the units (is that a myth?!) or getting the right fit (I read that this was essential to get the bass. Best way to get them to fit nice and tight is to insert and then rotate through 90°) but they are really superb sounding once you get it right.
Hugely comfortable, even when screwed in fairly tight into your ears, and eliminate background sound.
